Megger MOM2

The Megger MOM2 handheld micro-ohmmeter delivers accurate low-resistance measurements for electrical testing and maintenance. It tests circuit breaker contacts, busbar joints, and other high-current connections. This helps technicians assess connection quality and identify potential issues before they affect equipment performance.

The MOM2 uses an ultracapacitor to generate high test currents. Unlike conventional capacitors, it stores a large amount of energy and releases it quickly. As a result, the MOM2 can deliver a maximum DC output current of 220 A, supporting reliable low-resistance measurements in the field.

Weighing approximately 1 kg, the battery-powered MOM2 is easy to transport between jobs. It measures resistance from 1 µΩ to 1,000 mΩ, allowing technicians to test very low resistance values accurately. In addition, Bluetooth connectivity lets users communicate with a PC.

The MOM2 also supports DualGround™ testing. This method allows technicians to test an object while keeping it grounded on both sides. Consequently, it helps improve safety and makes testing more convenient.
