OMICRON CMGPS 588 GPS

The Omicron CMGPS 588 GPS synchronisation unit is an antenna-integrated, GPS-controlled time reference optimised for outdoor usage. It works as a Precision Time Protocol (PTP) Grandmaster Clock and does not require configuration work. It is automatically ready for operation quickly after providing a power supply via Power over Ethernet (PoE). The distance between the CMGPS 588 and the CMC can be extended up to 95 m (312 ft) using extension cables.

• Vibration and shock resistance — The Omicron CMGPS 588 is compliant with IEC standards for vibration and shock resistance. This means it can withstand the rigours of transportation and use in industrial environments.
• Flexible placement — You may extend the distance between the CMGPS 588 and the CMC (communication module) up to 95 metres (312 feet) using extension cables. This allows you to optimally position the Omicron CMGPS 588 for GPS signal reception, regardless of your test equipment setup.
