Key Features
- Automatic data logging — Captures and logs over 500 power quality parameters, including voltage, current, power, harmonics, dips, swells and inrush currents, for comprehensive data analysis and reporting.
- Flexible measurement options — Four flexible current probes measure all three phases and neutral, making it suitable for a wide range of power quality and energy studies.
- Highest Safety Rating — Rated at 600 V CAT IV/1000 V CAT III, it ensures safe usage at service entrances and downstream electrical systems.
- Remote Data Access — Compatible with the Fluke Connect® mobile app and desktop software, allowing remote data access, analysis and sharing, which reduces the need for on-site visits.
- Comprehensive Software Integration — Includes Energy Analyse Plus software for detailed energy consumption and power quality analysis, automated reporting and a power quality health summary to quickly assess system health.
Applications
- Energy studies — The Fluke 1736 Power Quality Analyser can automatically log key parameters like voltage, current, power and harmonics. This data helps identify areas for energy savings and efficiency improvements — making it invaluable for facility managers and auditors looking to optimise energy consumption and reduce costs.
- Load studies — This device is ideal for verifying electrical system capacity before adding new loads. Accurately logging and analysing load data ensures electrical systems can handle additional load without compromising performance or safety. This application is critical for preventing overloads and ensuring reliable operation of electrical systems.
- Harmonics measurement — The Fluke 1736 excels in identifying harmonic distortions that can damage sensitive equipment. Capturing and analysing harmonic data helps diagnose and mitigate issues caused by harmonic currents. This is crucial for maintaining the health and efficiency of electrical systems in industrial and commercial settings.
- Voltage and current event capture — The analyser effectively captures voltage and current events such as dips, swells and inrush currents. This capability is vital for pinpointing the root causes of power quality issues — preventing false resets and reducing nuisance tripping of circuit breakers. It provides a detailed event waveform snapshot for in-depth analysis.
